As Sinthia enters her home after an evening at the opera, she is confronted by an intruder who has clearly been stealing her valuables. He makes her remove all of her clothes in front of him, and as if that were not embarrassing enough, he orders her to lie down on the floor and handcuff her wrists, looping the chain around the leg of a cabinet to ensure that she cannot raise the alarm too soon. He departs and leaves her in this predicament. Sinthia is well aware that her only way out of this is when someone visits and finds her, which will be another embarrassing encounter.
