Carissa has managed to get herself into so much debt that conventional lenders are unwilling to help her out any more. Consequently, she has used the services of a private lender who does not take kindly to being stiffed by people who don't repay his loans to them, with plenty of interest naturally. Carissa is meeting with her lender and trying to persuade him to give her more time to come up with the money, but he is reluctant to accommodate her, not least because his reputation for enforcing collections might be jeopardized by assenting. When Carissa insists that she really can't come up with any money for at least another week, her lender reluctantly agrees, but he wants something in return as interim payment - he wants her to take off all her clothes and stand before him in the nude. Carissa desperately does not want to do this and tries to reason with the man, but he is completely inflexible on this point. Either she pays up now, or she strips to gain extra time. Backed into a corner, Carissa has no choice but to do as he demands.
