Jessica has been cheating on her boyfriend. He is getting suspicious, so she turns to one of her old friends and asks him if he would lie for her, saying that she was shopping with him when her most recent infidelity occurred. Her friend is not sure he wants to be dragged into the middle of this, but Jessica is quite insistent. Obviously, she is a little desperate, and her friend realizes he can use this to his advantage.
