Vonka has just lost her job, and with it her health insurance. This means she will no longer be covered if she visits her counselor, so she asks him about the possibility of a payment plan for the foreseeable future. The counselor hesitates to agree to this, based on past patient conduct, so he makes an alternative suggestion, adding that he doesn't think Vonka will like it. When confronted by a request to take off her clothes in lieu of the fee she would otherwise have to pay, Vonka is hesitant, but realizes that this would also solve an immediate problem for her until she gains fresh employment. She agrees, immediately feeling embarrassed as she begins the process of undressing in her counselor's office.
